Our Philosophy of the Practice of Law

The attorneys of Oldman, Cooley, Sallus, Birnberg, Coleman, & Gold L.L.P. are in business to serve clients by giving them their efforts, talents, education, empathy, sensitivity and experience. Our lawyers and staff are committed to rendering the best service available by individualizing advice, support and guidance depending on the circumstances presented. Our approach to each individual client will be determined by the particulars of each matter and the ultimate approach is based upon a collaborative effort between the attorney and client. Our extensive experience allows us to aggressively litigate any matter through trial as well as pursue all appropriate avenues to settlement to achieve the most beneficial result possible.

Leadership in the Legal Community

Our Attorneys are and have been members and officers of several organizations on local, state and national levels. Our attorneys have served as Chairman of the Probate and Trust Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, President of the Beverly Hills Bar Association and President of the San Fernando Valley Bar Association, as well as serving as officers and board members at each of these organizations. At the state level, our attorneys have served on the Executive Committee of the Trust and Estate Section of the California State Bar Association, drafted proposed legislation and testified before the State of California Assembly Judiciary Committee. At the national level, our attorneys are serving as Fellows of the American College of Trust and Estates Counsel and have participated in various committees at the American Bar Association. Additionally, numerous articles have been written and published in newspapers, magazines and historical scholarly publications by our attorneys. Oldman, Cooley, Sallus, Birnberg & Coleman, L.L.P. attorneys often lecture and teach on various probate and civil topics at the local, state and national levels.
