Ms. Gonzalez obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in History at the University of California and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law.
While in law school, Ms. Gonzalez received the following Awards: Dean’s Merit Scholarship, Honors, American Jurisprudence Award (Labor Law) for the Best Brief. She was the Staff Editor for the Journal of Law and Social Challenges and participated in the Street Law Project.
Before joining Oldman, Cooley, Sallus, Birnberg & Coleman, L.L.P. in 2008, Ms. Gonzalez worked as an associate in law firms handling business, real estate litigation, receiverships, bankruptcy and consumer protection.
She was the Secretary of the Public Interest Law Foundation and the Grant Committee Chair and a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America (Executive Committee), of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity and of the Women’s Law Association. She is a member of Women Laywers Association of Los Angeles, Los Angeles County Bar Association, and San Fernando Valley Bar Association. She also served as a member of the board of directors of the Campbell Center in Glendale, California.
She has won Pasadena Magazine’s Top Attorney Award in 2015, 2016, 2017 & 2018, Los Angeles Magazine’s Top Attorneys in Southern California Award in 2018, Los Angeles Magazine’s Top Women Attorneys in Southern California Award in 2017 & 2018, The Legal Network’s Top Attorneys in California Award in 2017.
